My name is Mark Kemp, better known as 'The Yorkshire Fossil Hunter'. I am based near the beautiful Holderness coast and only a short drive from the Jurassic coast further up north.

Collecting and preparing fossils has been a huge part of my life for nearly 10 years.  I have been lucky enough to have uncovered and collected some truly amazing fossils and finds over those years, a few of which you may have seen on my YouTube channel.  If I'm not in my workshop preparing fossils, you will most likely find me somewhere on the beach fossil hunting.

I am very lucky to live where I do as it is fantastic for glacial erratics.  The variety of fossils are amazing and unique.

Through years of research and practice, I've turned my passion and hobby into my career.  While my day-to-day activities largely revolve around preparing fossils for clients all over the world, I am expanding into other areas such as guided walks, and preparation lessons for individuals who share my love of fossils.

Over the years, my reputation in the fossil hunting community has grown and I have been fortunate enough to be recognized for my work on both a national and international scale.
